Merovingian, Orléans (620-650 AD), gold Tremissis, moneyer Ebromarus, AVRILIANVS, diademed bust right. Rev. EBROMARVS, Parisian cross on crescent, 1.14g (SCBI 69, Plate 46, No. 1084 - this coin; cf. A Pol, 'Thrasemundus between Thomsen and Peiresc: an enquiry into the pedigree of some Merovingian coins'). Extremely Fine, minor encrustations.
