First laureate head left, legend surrounding with toothed outer border both sides. Rev inverted dies axis, crowned cruciform emblematic shields, emblematic sceptres in angles, date either side of English crown, (MCE 117; King -; S 3397). Good very fine, slight reddish tone. Subtle X scratched under the 16 and also 87 of date.
