Notable lots include coins from the Twelve Caesars, such as Caligula (#41) and Claudius (#42), and gold aurei of Marcus Aurelius (#66 and 67). Lot 140, a rare Carausius denarius, stands out. The British section starts with a rare gold Thrymsa (#167) and includes Viking imitation pennies, a sovereign of Edward VI (#201), and hammered silver pieces.
