First coinage (1911-19), bare head of King left, with raised BM on truncation, legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS V DG BRITT OMN REX FD IND IMP. Rev, crowned mark of value with date either side all within oak wreath (S. 4016; Bull 3970; ESC 2527). As Struck, a nicely uniform set with mirrored fields and just a hint of tone, no case.
