Description
Third crowned bust right within beaded circle, legend surrounding, IACOBVS DG MAG BRIT FRA ET HIB REX, initial mark martlet (1604-5) both sides. Rev, crowned harp with eight strings within beaded circle, legend reads HENRICVS ROSA REGNA IACOBVS, 4.38g (S. 6513; DF. 261). Pleasing cabinet tone strong details in the portrait with legible legends, flan marginally irregular. Rev, excellent depiction of the harp, clear inscriptions with the exception of one soft spot, mintmark clear both sides. Some light contact marks otherwise very fine some parts better. Rare so well preserved.
