George III (1760-1820), Proof Farthing, 1799, in copper, late Soho, laureate bust right, brooch with 6 recut jewels, small pellet on shoulder, rev. Britannia seated left, olive branch with 7 leaves of which 4 are detached, defective right limb to last a in britannia, edge centre-grained, (BMC 1278; Cooke 301; S.3779) As struck some minor marks only, very rare.&nbsp;
