George III (1760-1820), Penny, 1806, small laureate and draped bust right, no incuse hair curl at neck, K. on drapery, date below, beaded border both sides, legend GEORGIUS III.D:G.REX., rev inverted die axis, Britannia seated left on rock with shield, holding trident and olive branch, ship to left, SOHO and K on rock to right, date on raised rim below, BRITANNIA above, edge grained in deep groove (BMC 1343 KP38; S 3780). Choice uncirculated with pleasing red lustre on both sides.
