George III (1760-1820), Silver Pattern Shilling, &nbsp;1798, by John Milton, laureate head right, reverse crowned shield of arms, (ESC.1243; ‘R5’ Bull 2176). Encapsulated by PCGS as PR65.&nbsp;The finest graded by any of the third party graders.Only one graded by PCGS (this example).&nbsp;The highest graded by NGC being PR63 which was sold by a Swiss auction house for just under £6,000 including buyer’s premium.Made in the same year as the famous 'Dorrien and Magens' shilling.
