c. 415-405 BC, 17.17g. Charioteer, being crowned by Nike, driving quadriga left, EY (artist’s signature) below the horses, two dolphins in exergue. Rev. Diademed head of Arethusa facing left, ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΟΝ above and four dolphins (two off-flan) around, EY (artist’s signature) below earring. (HGC 2, 1329; McClean 2707; Tudeer 29; SNG ANS 261). Good Very Fine. Rare.
