William Wyon (1795‑1851), medallist and chief engraver at the Royal Mint, silver memorial medal (56mm/90.27gm) 1854 by L. C. Wyon for the Art Union of London Series. Bust right. Rev, Britannia stands with four sea‑horses rising from the sea (Eimer 1480; BHM 2535). Edge nick at 2 o’clock, otherwise Near Extremely Fine and very rare, only 30 silver medals allotted in 1855.
