Description
Victoria (1837‑1901), Penny, 1848, young head left, date below, reverse Britannia helmeted seated right with shield and ornamental trident, emblems in exergue. (BMC.1496; S.3948). Choice mint state, with full red mint lustre. Only the slightest toning marks. Encapsulated by NGC as MS63 RD. Exceptional example, very seldom do you see a full “Red” attribution from NGC.
