Sicily, Syracuse, Agathokles (317‑289 BC) AR Tetradrachm, c. 317‑310 BC. Head of Arethusa facing right, wearing a wreath of grain ears, triple‑pendant earring and necklace of pearls, surrounded by three dolphins. Rev. Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving quadriga left, ΣYPAKOΣIΩN and monogram in exergue. (HGC 2, 1348; Morgan 150). Extremely Fine. Some small, old scratches.
