Description
George II (1727‑60), Sixpence, 1757. Old laureate and draped bust left, legend surrounds GEORGIVS II DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, six strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date flanking top crown, reads M.B.F. ET. H. REX. F.D. B.ET. L. D. S. R. I. A. T ET. E. (S. 3711; Bull 1762; ESC 1622). In NGC holder graded MS 63 (6770019‑001), difficult to find in such high grade due to circulating widely.
