James II (1685‑88), Crown, 1687. Second laureate and draped bust left. Rev, crowned cruciform emblematic shields, six strings to Irish harp, edge inscribed in raised letters and dated TERTIO, 30.16gm (S. 3407; Bull 743; ESC 78). Choice Extremely Fine, minor adjustment marks as is typical, hair detail particularly strong.
