Charles I (1625‑1649), AR Halfcrown, York mint, 13.72gm. Gp 2 [type 7], crowned king on horse left, horse’s tail between legs, mm. lion, rev. crowned oval garnished royal arms between CR, six strings to harp. (cf Brooker 1087; N 2315; S 2869). Good Fine, toned with flan defects in centre of coin.
