(50mm/52.66gm) By J. & N. Roettiers. Draped, cuirassed bust of Charles right, JR cypher below, CAROL · D · G · M · B · F · ET · H · REX · & · GLOR · MEM rev. Manus Dei emerging from clouds and bearing a radiant celestial crown; below, pastoral scene, VIRTVT(EM) EX · ME · FORTVNAM · EX · ALIJS, [Seek] virtue from me; fortune from others. (MI i 346-200, Eimer-162a). Another similar, but smaller with no JR cypher and in silver, (34.5mm/15.24gm), (MI i 347-201, Eimer-162b). First good Extremely Fine with iridescence and original mint lustre, second less than Fine. [2]

These medals were ordered by Charles II following his restoration in 1660, but the actual date of issue is believed to be 1695.
