The Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal awarded to Engine Room Artificer Charles Felgate Barker, H.M.S. Victor Emanuel comprising RN LS&GC, QVR, 1877-1901 Impressed Naming (C. F. Barker. E.R.A. H.M.S. Victor Emanuel), very fine (1)
Charles Felgate Barker was born on the 26th of March 1857 and joined the Royal Navy on the 1st of August 1880. He served aboard 18 ships during his service including H.M.S, Victor Emanuel from the 21st of December 1887 to the 5th of March 1891 H.M.S. Barham between 1894 and 96 and H.M.S Duke of Wellington, his last ship, from 25th of April 1899 to the 30th of September 1900 when he was discharged to Pension.
