Stanley Gibbons Baldwin's are delighted to offer The Crown Coin at Auction on September 25th. Created by The East India Company to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, this unique commemorative piece is struck from 3.61 kg of 24-carat gold and measures 235 mm across. It incorporates a central £10,000 coin surrounded by ten one-ounce coins depicting official portraits and the Queen’s Virtues, and is set with 6,426 GIA-certified diamonds weighing a total of 483.57 carats, with motifs referencing the Queen’s tiaras and the Union Jack.
