1847-54 1s green, close to large margins, addressed USA cancelled with indistinct London obliterator and tied by "BR. PACKET/BOSTON" hs and "PAID" hs alongside both in red, the reverse with smudged "F R/FE 20/1852" hs in black; containing interesting contents regarding the price of "spermaceti" and "whale oil"; cover re-folded (not affecting adhesive) and slightly grubby.
