Strange Tales #130 CGC 5.5 1st appearance of Kaecilius, 3rd Appearance of Dormammu & The Beatles Cameo (Marvel Comics, 1965).
Cover pencils by Jack Kirby and inks by Chic Stone. The Beatles make a cameo appearance in "Meet the Beatles!" (What next, Sgt. Fury's Lonely Heart's Club Band?!?). Story by Stan Lee and Bob Powell, pencils by Bob Powell, and inks by Chic Stone. Ben and Johnny have another one of their "fights," then have to clean up Reed's lab as a result. They take Alicia and Doris on a double-date to see The Beatles, the girls getting to meet the rock stars in person and get autographs; but Ben & Johnny wind up having to go after some crooks who robbed the box-office. A wild free-for-all at Coney Island ensues. 1st appearance of Kaecilius and 3rd appearance of Dormammu in "The Defeat of Dr. Strange". Story by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee, and art by Steve Ditko. Dormammu agrees to give Mordo power without limit so that he may destroy Dr. Strange. In Tibet, Mordo and two followers attack. Strange manages to whisk his aging mentor to safety. As Strange leaves his mentor with a loyal hermit, Dormammu sends spirits to search for him. 36 pgs. Full colour. Cover price $0.12.
