Strange Tales #168 CGC 7.5 Last Doctor Strange and Nick Fury Issue (Marvel Comics, 1968).
Cover art by Dan Adkins. The last Doctor Strange and Nick Fury story in "Exile!". Story by Dennis O'Neil and Dan Adkins, and art by Adkins. Yandroth's shot sends Strange plunging into the abyss, but the Ancient One uses the Trans-Hypnotic Jewel to stop his fall; Strange uses his Cloak of Levitation to grab Yandroth, but sees the Viking women about to kill Victoria. To save her, he releases his grip on Yandroth, sending him plummeting through the Dimension of Dreams, where he will eventually become nothing more than a dream himself. The series continues with Doctor Strange #169. Nick Fury stars in "Today Earth Died!". Story and pencils by Jim Steranko, and inks by Joe Sinnott. As Fury begins to doze off in his office he gets a call from Val about a UFO. Landing in midtown Manhattan a news crew and crowds gather to observe the emergence of an alien named Vaengr; He offers them The Prism Of Miracles which will banish hatred, crime, war and violence; Fury, Val & Dugan search the spaceship and discover Vaengr is not what he seems.
